Soft Plug Repair:
- Soft plug clogging can occur when ink viscosity increases, causing a disconnection. This can often be resolved by dipping the printhead nozzle in the original ink and cleaning it multiple times.
- Use the printhead cleaning function in the printer driver's utility tool to help clear the obstruction.
Hard Plug Repair:
- Immersion Method Application: Suitable for more stubborn clogs. Find a metal container with a smooth bottom surface and add a small amount of 95% concentration organic solvent alcohol solution. Ensure the alcohol covers the l1800 printhead's stainless steel components, but avoid contact with circuit boards. Soak the printhead for 2 hours to 4 days, as needed.
